Button Sets

    Did the new Synergy 1.0a6 lose some of the icon sets or what? I miss the "Apple" one.

    Speaking of button sets, why not have a "button sets" folder within the synergy application support folder. Synergy could check the folder for new button sets and that way users could add/remove sets at their will. It would encourage skinning and make editing existing sets much easier. Further, it would cut down on the overall synergy package size, as less popular sets would not have to be bundled with the software. This may be a synergy advance task, however.

    Good idea, the Application Support one... and it suggests a range of other possibilities, like including only a small number of sets with the application, and having the ability to download new sets and store them in the Application Support folder without even having to leave the Synergy preferences... But as you say, this kind of advanced functionality is probably best left for Synergy Advance.
