Can the floater ignore the dock?

I keep the Synergy floater in the lower-left corner of my screen. I'm using 2.0, and I have the floater positioned in the extreme lower-left corner (so it overlays the Dock). But if the Dock is visible when the floater is first shown, or when the song changes, the floater moves itself up so it's above the Dock. I would really appreciate a preference to make the floater completely ignore the Dock. I keep a lot of palettes open in Adobe programs all day, and I really want the floater to stick where I put it: all the way at the bottom of the screen.

Another program I use all the time, Focus (which puts the active application's icon in a corner of the screen), has this preference and it works great.
