Feature request #1871: Sync up EBS snapshot scripts across hosts

Description

So, my Rails instance is now running Ruby 1.9.2, and a different version of the AWS gem, so the snapshot.rb script required changes.

May as well sync it up across all hosts so they are all using the same script and version of Ruby etc.
