Description

Setting up HAProxy as a load balancer between nginx and the mongrel cluster should even out response times a little.

One thing to note: HAProxy doesn't yet support HTTP keep-alive.

Another option to consider is Unicorn.

Moved to Unicorn earlier this year and it works great. Problem solved.
